Sheetz Gas Station – Macomb Township, Michigan

Leonard C. Carnaghi Inc. is proud to share progress on the new Sheetz gas station currently under construction in Macomb Township, Michigan. Our team, along with a strong group of subcontractors, has been making excellent progress on this project despite challenging winter conditions.

Construction began in mid-December 2025 on a fully wooded site spanning more than three acres. Since breaking ground, significant milestones have already been achieved.

Underground fuel storage tanks have been installed and are currently being plumbed. In addition, all on-site underground infrastructure is now complete, including storm sewer, water main connections, water service leads, sanitary sewer, plumbing, electrical, and other essential utilities.

The floor rough-ins have been completed and backfilled, preparing the site for the next phase of construction. Another visible milestone was reached with the erection of the fuel island canopy, giving the site its first recognizable structure.

The project remains on schedule as we prepare to pour the building slab and begin vertical construction in the coming phase.
